The building has retained its original volumes and lines while adopting a more contemporary interpretation. Wood, marble, natural materials and deep colours create a warm atmosphere, with a few references to Art Nouveau and contemporary touches that avoid any pastiche.<\/p>\n\n

The hotel has 75 rooms and suites, from the 20 m\u00b2 classic room to the 45 m\u00b2 Suite, with several categories in between and some rooms featuring a balcony. From the windows, the eye is drawn towards the Alps, the Aravis or Mont-Joly.<\/p>\n\n

The comfort is that of a carefully considered interlude: bedding, soundproofing and contemporary amenities support the essentials without ostentation. The appeal of the place lies as much in the view as in the feeling of being in the right place to inhabit the mountains rather than simply pass through them.<\/p>\n\n

At the end of the day, Le Marie Paradis comes into its own in the historic part of the hotel. The bar pays tribute to Marie Paradis, the first woman to reach the summit of Mont-Blanc in 1808, and offers a more intimate setting for a cocktail or a house creation.<\/p>\n\n

Restaurant Avanti offers a generous Italian-influenced menu, with pasta, antipasti, parmesan and artisan pizzas. It also welcomes visitors who are not staying at the hotel, making it a lively place to eat, designed for a simple, convivial meal after a day in the mountains.<\/p>\n\n

One of the clearest strengths of the place remains its location right in front of the Tramway du Mont-Blanc. For a stay of at least two nights, the hotel currently offers a return train journey, subject to availability and during the operating season.<\/p>\n\n
