Luxury cruise on the Mekong - From Ho Chi Minh to Siem Reap
A river with a thousand faces: welcome to the Mekong
The Mekong, South-East Asia's living artery, invites you on an immersive exploration, far from the beaten track. From bustling Ho Chi Minh City to the thousand-year-old heritage of the Khmer temples, the cruise aboard the Mekong Princess is much more than an itinerary - it's a spellbinding tale, an emotional journey punctuated by rare encounters and eternal landscapes.
Aboard the Mekong Princesselegance and intimacy on the water
As soon as you board, you'll be greeted by a cosy atmosphere: a fresh towel, a welcome drink and sincere smiles. With its spacious cabins, panoramic lounges, spa and gourmet restaurant, the Mekong Princess is a floating haven where every detail has been thought out for your comfort. With just a few suites, this luxury boat on a human scale promises an intimate and refined cruise.
Authentic ports of call and deep cultural immersion
Each day offers its share of unforgettable discoveries: in Bến Tre, you can sample traditional sweets in a coconut candy factory. In Cái Răng, you can explore a floating market at dawn, to the ancestral rhythm of river trade. In Hồng Ngự, a little-known border village, weavers introduce you to the art of Khmer krama. Away from the crowds, these encounters are sincere, sometimes even poignant, as in Choeung Ek, a place of memory in Cambodia.
Rare moments on the water
The journey also offers moments when time seems to stand still: open-air cooking demonstrations, massages on the upper deck, tropical fruit tastings as dawn breaks... And when evening comes, apsara dancers bring Khmer legends to life in a ballet of grace and silence. Each day celebrates the beauty and resilience of the peoples of the Mekong.
Phnom Penh, Angkor Ban, Kampong Cham: the soul of Cambodia revealed
In Phnom Penh, you visit the National Museum and its archaeological treasures, relics of the Khmer Empire. Then comes Angkor Ban, one of the few villages to have escaped the destruction of the Khmer Rouge. Here you will meet local families, visit centuries-old houses and attend Buddhist prayers in a peaceful temple. Finally, after a last night on the water, your cruise ends in Kampong Cham, before an overland transfer to Siem Reap, at the gateway to Angkor.
